Just don't stand there and also, accept the "free" candy for the love of God!Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12192051310460596640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3846331961014804073.post-16511723455676621672011-11-04T18:37:15.387-07:002011-11-04T18:37:15.387-07:00Mommy, Jennifer & XL - kids only practice what...Mommy, Jennifer & XL - kids only practice what they are taught. Some of the kids in our neighbourhood could have been a little more grateful - I focused in on the ones who were really sweet and said "I love your spooky music!" If I noticed the kids were trying to check out what I was giving them (chocolate bars, btw), I would just shove my hand down into their bag where they really couldn't see what they were getting. My friend and I used to always have a performance ready in case any of our neighbours requested it - a song, a dance - something more than just our hands stuck out. Haven't seen anyone do anything like that in years.Cookie’s Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10539520794775363132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3846331961014804073.post-5216191577264027772011-11-03T08:13:56.813-07:002011-11-03T08:13:56.813-07:00I was frustrated with kids who wouldn't hold t...I was frustrated with kids who wouldn't hold their bag or bucket up a little for me. He still forgot sometimes, though... I mostly blame the older kids who have no excuse... & probably shouldn't be out trick or treating anyways!!
