Here's to the crazy, fearless ones

Today's Fearless Friday post is brought to you by the late, great Steve Jobs. I've always been fascinated by him so when I saw Netflix had the documentary movie starring Ashton Kutcher, I had to watch it. Now, I know the movie didn't always paint him in the best light and I'm sure there were times he might have personally and professionally been a jerk in real life. Still, no one can deny his genius. And, his fearlessness.

"The greatest artists like Dylan, Picasso and Newton risked failure. And if we want to be great, we’ve got to risk it too." - quote by Jobs

Steve risked it all because he believed in what he was doing and because he was passionate about it. He was fearless in his pursuit of changing technology. Yes there were times he failed but he never quit. Why? Because he was crazy enough to keep going, and to want to succeed. And that brings me to my very favorite quote of his.

Here’s to the crazy ones — the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
