Celebrate Underwear Day

You've probably seen those Peeps commercials that celebrate unusual and in some cases, unheard of holidays because as they say "every day is a holiday."

According to the website, Days of the Year, today, August 5th is Underwear Day. Bet you didn't know that? Well, I didn't. Anyway, today is a day to publicly acknowledge your unmentionables so wear your undies with pride.

Put on your best bikinis, briefs, or boyshorts and strut like you're a Victoria's Secret angel. Or, if you're a guy and so inclined, pop on Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll" and dance as if your parents are away for the weekend.

Happy Underwear Day to you and yours! In lieu of Peeps candies (which I don't particularly care for) I will be celebrating with Twizzlers while wearing my comfortable Snoopy undies.
