5 steps to being fearless

Challenges. Difficult situations. Hard decisions. Every day we are faced with any number of these. If you're stalled in how to overcome whatever obstacle is in your path, maybe these 5 steps to being fearless can help.


1. Have Faith
Believe in yourself. You can do this. You are stronger than you think so have faith in yourself.

2. Smile
No matter what, hold your head high and smile. Having a sense of humor in tough times helps, too. 


3. Face It
It may seem easier to sit and not deal but only you can take control by facing your fears head on and resolving to overcome.

4. Take The First Step
The most difficult part is taking that first step. Don't let uncertainty hold you back. Difficult or easy, you need to move forward.


5. Don't Give Up
Even if you have to try again, keep going. Just don't give up.


I was on the fence about this post because I hate to come off all preachy. I write my fearless spiel every Friday and wonder, Is this any good?  Do I sound like I belong behind a pulpit? Will any of my readers ever send me baked goods? But seriously, I'll continue with my Fearless Friday posts until I run out of ideas. Or until someone begs me to stop. Cookies will be considered a form of delicious bribery.
