I'm one of those people who can watch a certain movie and instantly be transported back to a specific time and place. People feel that way with music a lot. There's a clinical term for it, I think. Associative Mood Takes Me Back something or other. Or, more simply, nostalgia.
So, there I was late Sunday afternoon watching Demi, Rob, Judd, Emilio, Ally, Andrew, and Mare. And instantly I was back in my town's small theater with my two best friends. We were sixteen then and we thought these young people on screen who had just graduated from college were so cool.
It made me smile to remember such good times. And I'm grateful to still be friends with those girls who sat next to me as we watched a group of friends and dreamed of ourselves someday hanging out at a bar, having a drink and trying to figure out life.

I saw this movie for the first time only a few weeks ago. I could relate to it like it was made for me... I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it sure made for a fun movie!
